EXPEDITED SHIPPING RULES FOR LITHIUM BATTERIES
THESE ARE THE CURRENT SHIPPING RULES FOR LITHIUM BATTERIES
Note the following when shipping ALL Lithium Batteries being shipped on an Airplane:
- All Lithium products shipped with Expedited services (Overnight / Next Day, 2nd Day & 3 Day Shipments) will be shipped ONLY using Federal Express. There will be no exceptions!
- All Lithium batteries or battery packs are classified as a Hazardous Material and will have an additional "Hazardous Shipping Fee" (HAZMAT Fee) which could total up to an additional $58.00 to the shipping charges that are calculated at checkout.
- Please be aware that the total indicated in your shopping cart may be adjusted after you have submitted your order.
- If you are shipping using "Ground" shipping for most Lithium products that StorTronics sells there are no additional Hazmat fees unless it is noted on the webpage of the product you are ordering.
NOTICE
Please note that there are some Lithium products that we may not be able to ship via "Air" services.

Hazardous Materials Certification
StorTronics is committed to complying with all Domestic and International shipping regulations. Every two years all StorTronics employees complete an 8 hour training seminar in order to learn all of the current and new regulations that are enforced by IATA (International Air Transport Association) and the US DOT (US Department of Transportation).
